I AM OODLES AND OODLES FULL OF EXCITEMENT TODAY! I don’t even know how to contain myself or hold myself back from smiling, laughing, and completely bawling from excitement and happiness. Two of my closest and dearest friends have had wonderful children join our world in the past 32 hours. Congratulations to Chris, Carolynn and Vallen on their new son and brother Ledger who was born on Tuesday, December 16th. Not only was that very exciting news, but after going for lunch with one of my closest friends and cousin-by-marriage, Candice, yesterday I was a little concerned to keep track of how her and babe were doing. After not being able to get a hold of her last night or this morning, and hours of me convinced that she had gone into labour, her sister and I finally got in touch. Early this morning Reese Addison, who I consider one of my neices and I will love and spoil to death, was welcomed into this world. Why is it that babies have such an emotional effect on us? Probably because they are so sweet, innocent, and remind us how wonderful life is! I could barely hold back my tears of joy all day today as I continuously thought of both of my friends cuddling with their gorgeous new bundles! I am extremely excited to meet them both in the next couple of days, and will be sharing some of Reese’s newborn photos as well! As I keep my tears, joy, and excitement in control I will share with you a few of my favorites from Candices prenatal shoot. Congratulations Candice and Scott! P.S. Baby shopping is SO much fun – what a great way to end a day and spend lots of money!
IT IS A CRAZY TIME OF YEAR as we are all counting down the days until our much anticipated Christmas holidays, trying to rummage together gifts for our loved ones, and driving around like time is going to end – even though we know that traffic is awful at this time of year. In the midst of all of this head spinning craziness I think it is important that we take some time to reflect on what we do have and be thankful for our wonderful lives. There will always be people who have more then you, but there will also always be many more that have much less then you.

Please take a minute to check out the video I have attached – I found it online and feel very strongly that we each need to make a difference in this world. Whether you do something as simple as hold the door for an elderly, pay for someone’s hot chocolate (thanks Kayla!), or donate $10,000 to charity, no good deed goes unnoticed in the grand scheme of things and the least we can do is spread the word. When people have the frame of mind that one person alone cannot make a difference, I would like to shake them and say ‘if everyone who thinks that way changed their way of thinking, the world would be a better place!’
Happy Holidays!
P.S. Stay tuned for my new website – to be complete before 2009!
